Hi, everyone! I know it’s a feature that everyone wants to have, the one that during scrolling there is a change in the navigation bar. Currently this can be achieved with mouse enter. I’m trying to scroll horizontally through “floors”, I move between walls and as soon as I reach wall 4, I want it to appear above that I’ve reached the 2nd floor (above there is navigation of buttons to the floors but this can also be achieved by scrolling, I’ve attached a picture). Right now, I have a constant jump and I can’t do a repeat. For each floor change I made its own frame and connected every fourth wall to the next floor and vice versa.

I am trying to set the visibility as a variable because I want to create a filter for my item lists. I saw a tutorial on Youtube that explains that to mimic a filter, one can simply assign a variable to the visibility of the layer and toggle it based on the user input on the drop-down filter. However, when I right-click the visibility icon, Figma registers my action as if I simply left-clicked on it, thus making it disappear instead of opening the menu. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any other right-click works perfectly fine.

Hi there, As a college professor teaching visual design, my question is to the educators. How are you folding in AI into your curriculum? My concern is is that AI will cut into ideation such as sketching and wireframing. Also how can we vet work what was created by AI and not by the student?

Hi all! I have a question regarding the best way to create these types of “processing map”. My team uses the QUEST Tibco’s Nimbus product (if someone is familiar with this product) and basically they have these “parent” maps with instructions, in them there are also linked some child maps that you can click on from the parent one and then it goes to it. You can also attach documents in them, so I’m curious if there is a way of doing the same thing or similar in Figma and what’s the best way. I’m also looking for a way of attaching links and documents and if there is a possibility to hyperlink icons in it. Thank you!

Hello everyone! We are working with the Geologica font, it is displayed differently on my computer and on my colleague’s computer. To be more precise, the shape of the letter A changes when you click on the text. It doesn’t change even if I write a new phrase. We tried to remove and install the font again, but it didn’t work. Nothing changes in either the browser or computer versions. Hi everyone, I am the only designer in a company and I’ve been invited to the company’s Figma file as an editor, we were on the free plan but now, we need to migrate to a pro plan….If the company pays pro plan for just an editor(me) with they themselves still being on a free plan, will I have access to all the pro features?

I have a many different font styles in a file and I’m not sure if all of them are being used. Is there a way to see where a font style has been used in a Figma file?

Hi everybody ! Sorry for my bad english … 🙄 I’m creating a prototype and users will test it on tablet. In my prototype i have some frame which are scrollable. My problem is that when i’m testing on tablet the scroll is not fluid and it seems to have performance issues. I don’t have this problem on Desktop. I checked the memory manager and all is fine : Do you have any ideas to help me to improve the scroll fluidity ?

At least on European keyboards (don’t know about the others) there is no dedicated backslash button. Therefore I can not use Ctrl + \ to show or hide the UI of the Figma web app. Keyboard combinations with Alt are not working. If I hide the UI with the help of the menu, I can not Show it again since the menu is part of the UI. !!??!

When using mirroring on my phone, the design doesn’t show properly. Sometimes there are missing elements, or elements that are not fully visible. This happens even when I open Figma Mirror on my phone’s browser. Here’s how my design shows up: I’m using the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Already tried re-installing the app and clearing the cache.

I am a tutor trying to switch from Jamboard to FigJam. My current online student is under 13 years of age. Does that mean we cannot use this platform, or is there a way for younger students to join with a parental consent? Thanks for your help.

This is not a new problem since i’ve seen other people with the same issue but i’ve already tried possibles solutions and it have not helped me at all. Every time i open Figma there this pop up that tells me that there is a new update available and asks if i want to install it now or on the next launch. But it does not matter which button i press because it keeps appearing. I’ve already tried to uninstall and download again the app, to restart the device, etc, etc. So i’m hoping for a new solution, because i’ve been also trying to reach Figma staff and i hear no response neither.

I was exploring the features in Figma slides, I noticed the grid option, now I cant find it anymore? Has anyone had this problem? What am I doing wrong? Where is the option to remove / hide the grid over all slides?

Hi, I’m creating a sliding carousel where the main item is larger and none blurred. I’ve designed 5 frames for the 5 items but I can’t get them to link up on prototype. All of the carousel items and collection of items are set to Auto Layout. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this to work? Let me know if you need more info.

Hi 👋🏼 Is there any way to bind variables to my gradient with Plugin API? We got gradientStops and boundVariables for them, but I can’t see any way to set bound variables for it. setBoundVariable() is for bindable fields, setBoundVariableForPaint() is for solid paints. Is there any methods or plans to make ones for the gradient stops? Cheers! Example of gradient layer with bound variables
