I created a component in autolayout that will change size according to the chosen model. However, the image I placed is not decreasing proportionally, when I select the Fit option it still remains with the height of the original image, the width decreased correctly according to the area it is in. Is there any way to make the image decrease proportionally?

I want to use the shortcut ‘N’ to jump to the next frame in the Figma file. There is not any guidelines on how to make the order of the screens the way I want it. For example, even if the screens/frames are in the layers panel in the correct order and numbered in ascending order, the shortcut will still jump to a random frame regardless of ordering. What is the trick to have control over which frame the shortcut will jump to next?

Hi, If there’s any chance you can please take a look at the UI for the instance swap property setup in the new UI. It’s really, really challenging to find. Took 1.5 days to realize you have to set the property to the component then select the frame to swap then go back to the top and hit the 3 dots. I know I’m still learning but at least with the boolean right click old UI there were tons of videos of people showing that. Here every single old video for IS is based on old UI. 😦

When attempting to test prototypes in browser, the Figma loading screen appears but will not load the prototypes. The following appears in the console: Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 401 () https://www.figma.com/api/files/fnzRU85nTaNQrBt2J9tKps/prototype/view Each prototype I’m testing is responding with the same console error, but each worked prior to today. I’m not sure if I’ve unknowingly broke something or if this is a bug others are experiencing.

I’ve tried the browser and desktop app yet my logo doesn’t show up. All my other images work, except for one. Not sure why this is.

I’ve been using the Figma desktop app for a long time, but it’s always been sluggish. Even running it on a GPU didn’t improve the performance. When I tried the same file on macOS, it ran much smoother. I also cleared the cache, but that didn’t help either.

I received the tour within Figma and checked out some of the new features. I went back to the previous UI to compare some things and now UI3 cannot be re-enabled. Only the Join UI3 + AI waitlist menu is available. Not a huge deal, I suppose, though it would have been nice to experiment with it longer than 30 seconds. It would also be nice to allow us to go back and forth, not only to compare, but because we also have demos, presentations, or interviews and it might be preferable to do those within an already familiar UI. My file consists only of these screens. Why is the file’s memory at 88%? I have other files that have way more stuff than this one, but still, arent having this issue. Can anyone shed some light on this issue? This is Figma’s desktop app. The file won’t even open on browser

When the application starts, it freezes at the last stage of opening the file. The same is true in the VS Code plugin. Firefox and Safary open normally in the browser. Mac Pro M2. Dev mode is purchased. Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

Unfortunately we waste a lot of time re-adding links to prototypes by updating texts in components. When we update the text the links disappear. The components are inside the same file.

I’m trying to create a button with a tooltip on hover: The only problem is, as the text is different for each button, so is the size and I can’t use auto-layout as the tooltip will now be included in the frame and so the hover will break: If I put the button with different text into an auto-layout next to another button, I get this: Basically, is there a way to resize the component frame without breaking the hover?

I created my responsive typography local variables and local styles. But when I try to use that, it is not appearing in Figma side panel under appearance. Just like themes (Light and dark) I had created typography variables for Web and mobile.

Hi Guys, I’m trying to use this feature “Open Overlay” and usually when you do that you can see a preview where you would like to position object to show up. But this option is not showing up anymore. I really need to show up because this notification is to indicate where the “select” option would be and clicked would appear, its has to be a litte bit below the name “select” for that reason I need to see where to position it I have even tried to create a new draft and just did a frame and the another box where I would like to position but is still the same see below the link of my document. For some reasons, after I have been given access to UI3 beta, I’m not able to add hyperlinks in Figma comments anymore. Also, it seems other shortcuts stopped working. Is there a known reason or have my settings changed deliberately?

Hello Hello! I know that you are giving access to Figma UI3 gradually but it has been a while and all of my colleauges getting it. When it will be available to all of us ?? I feel that I am late from the updates.

Anyone got any way to get any kind of actual actionable support from Figma? more than the check a box responses? Can’t open our design system. Its not small, enterprise level company, multiple libraries.

Nested layers can go quite deep and the width limit on expanding the layers panel is quite restrictive. I can’t reach some layer. If the width needs to be enforced then please allow some form of Horizontal scrolling in the layers panel

I’m really frustrated to see that a payment for 5 seats of Figma was deducted from my account without my approval. I did not intend to make this purchase, and there was absolutely no authorization from my side for this charge. I demand an immediate refund for this unauthorized transaction and request that you cancel the subscription immediately. Also, remove my card details from your system. I only purchased a single seat, yet I was wrongly charged for 4 seats last month and now 5 seats this month. This is completely unacceptable, especially since my card is not supposed to be saved with you. How did this even happen? I have already sent an email about this issue but have not received any response. I expect a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you for addressing this issue as soon as possible.
