I can’t find an article of how is the usage of applying variables to the variants of a component. I see only instances of variants that can connect to variables, but it does not work satisfyingly.

Does anyone have the knowledge of how they work? I’m not talking about prototyping. this is the design side.

I searched but could not find a good explanation.
