How to enable control z option

Hey i am learning Figma and my control z is not working as well as i am unable to delte layers

Hi @Anjali_som, Thanks so much for reaching out us with your question.

Just to clarify, are you asking about how to undo things using keyboard shortcuts? If that’s the case, here’s how you can do.

  • Mac: ⌘Command + Z
  • Windows: Ctrl + Z

If you looking to remove a layer, after you’ve got the layer selected, head over to Edit > Delete or give the delete key a tap.

There’s no need for any settings to use the shortcuts. I tested on my side and it seems working as expected. If you still experiences the difficulty, please try a quick fix below to see if it works :

  • Close any Figma tabs you’re not using
  • Browser: Force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window.
  • Desktop App: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it.
