I am using the owner account of the team. But the owner account email is my personal email, so I’m going to change it to a team-sharing email. If you do Account > change email, the mail changes, but all existing team files and permissions disappear. Can’t I change the owner account email while keeping the file?

Can you confirm if you’ve already changed the email address or are you planning to do it soon?


Hey @sblee, I’ve just got the confirmation that updating an account email shouldn’t affect permissions at all. The permissions are bound to the account, email being the piece of user identity and access that’s associated with that account.
