I’m reaching out regarding a pain point I always experience at the end of a project. The flow goes like this: I start a new design file, add the clients to it —normally as an editor— and then, once the project ends, I ask them to duplicate the file so that I can downgrade their seat to view-only.
Is that the correct way to go about it? Is there a better / smoother way to do so? There’s cases where I work on and off for the clients so honestly not sure if I should ask them to make me an editor of the file on their end after duplicating the original I delivered? Feels so off.
Any advice on this would be highly appreciated.
