Hi everyone,

I'm having a serious issue with one of my Figma files. Hope someone here can help me!

Here's my situation:

  • I created the file myself, using my personal email (confirmed I am the owner).
  • When I open the file, at the top of the file it says "Unassigned file" (in a yellow bar).
  • I cannot edit, duplicate, or move the file to drafts or a team.
  • The file has copy and duplication permissions turned off, and I cannot seem to turn them back on.
  • Other users can only view the file (as set), but I can't even manage my own file properly.
  • I double-checked that I'm logged into the correct account (owner's email).

I already tried:

  • Checking ownership and permissions.
  • Looking for "Move to Drafts" or "Move to Team" options — but they're missing.
  • Logging out and back in.

⚠️ Important: This is a very important project file, and I need to continue working on it.

If anyone has experienced this before or knows a fix, please let me know!
Also, any way to contact Figma Support directly for this issue without upgrading to Pro?

Could you share the file link with me so I can take a closer look? If you’d rather not post it publicly, feel free to DM me and let me know here. You might also be able to find the file in your browser history or ask a collaborator if they still have access.
