Hello! I am trying to use the Figma agent to install fonts on my computer to later see them on the browser. I am not able to use the desktop app because my operating system is too old. I only can use Figma on browser. My question then is: What is the minimum operating system to use this Figma font installer?

Since you’re on macOS Catalina (10.15.7), I understand the challenges with font installation. The Figma Font Installer requires macOS 11 or later, so unfortunately, Catalina isn’t compatible.

Hi @Carlota, thank you for your patience! At the moment, the font installer isn’t available for mobile devices, so it’s unfortunately not possible to use local fonts on iPad, Chromebooks, or similar devices. I know this may not be ideal, especially if you prefer working on your iPad.
For now, I’d recommend using a desktop device to access your local fonts, or you can work with Google Fonts, which are directly available in Figma when using your iPad.
