I accidentally removed a member from the team, when I added the member back to the team, all the files he owned were missing. Where can he find back those files?

When you remove a team member, any files or projects owned by the removed team member will become ownerless. The file becomes ownerless. Ownerless files cannot be claimed but are still accessible by those with file access. While it is not possible to claim ownership of a file, fortunately a file editor has all of the same rights as an owner ā€“ they can edit, move, rename, and delete it. The file can be ownerless as long as there are editors remaining on the file.
