There’s a lot of posts online and on the forum about embedding Figma into other websites, but I was wondering if it was possible to embedded websites inside of a Figma Design file?

Specifically I’d like to embed a SketchFab model, ideally just providing the standard SketchFab iFrame code, and have it load in the design file and be usable?

Something like this model.

Is anyone aware if this is possible, or somethat that could be created through the Figma plugin api?

Thanks

Embeds are available in FigJam

Thanks @Gleb, not really what I’m looking for though.

You can copy them into Figma. No other ways to do that are available and not possible to create via an API (it doesn’t allow to create new behaviors, only do things what a regular user can do manually).

Hello,

I am trying to find a way of embedding sketchfab into FigJam.

When I add it like a link - it is static and not interactive (see attached pic below), it takes me to another browser tab on clicking it.

For comparison, when I do the same embed in In-vision Freehand, the frame is interactive within the whiteboard.

(See attached pic below for comparison)

Thanks for the help in advance!

NOTE: I don’t want to use Invision due to other reasons, and want to do this within FigJam.

i tried the same in FigJam but it shows up as a card and on clicking it takes me to a new tab

I´m struggling with exactly the same issue. Please somebody help, thanks
