Do I need an external GPU card?

Hi Figma community,
I’m finding that my experience is lagging while I am using Zoom with Figma.

I’ve got a Microsoft Surface Pro with the following specs:

|Processor|Intel(R) Core™ i5-4300U CPU @ 1.90GHz 2.50 GHz|
|Installed RAM|8.00 GB|
|System type|64-bit operating system, x64-based processor|
|Pen and touch|Pen and touch support with 10 touch points|
|Edition|Windows 10 Pro|
|Version|22H2|
|Experience|Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19053.1000.0|

I do not have a dedicated graphics card.
Do I need to go get an external GPU card to plug it in?

Can someone please guide me on what I should get?
Or is my computer just too outdated and I should look to buy something new with a dedicated Graphics GPU card?

Your feedback would be helpful for me.

Thank you,

Wallace
