Are you sure this file is in the pro team? Looks like you don’t have team access in the first place. The owner of the file needs to pay for you in order for you to access dev mode here.

I have the exact same problem, dev mode seat, but I can not use dev mode.
@Gleb: please explain what I have to do in order to get this working.

The design is from other team

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work across different teams.
The file either needs to be within your team or you have to be added into the other team with a Design seat to access Dev-Mode.
As seen in other threads and posts, many people here are struggling this with and criticize this.

Simple: the file is not in the team where you have dev mode access. You need to pay again if you want to access that file in a different team. 😆

Exactly. So the owner needs to pay for you to access dev mode in their team. You personally don’t need to pay anything. So imagine this: you are a dev, you have 5 different clients. You think you can just pay once in order to access dev mode for all of them? Wrong: „Figma boasts a 90% gross profit margin and a 150% net dollar retention rate, some of the best numbers in the industry.“ If you only pay for yourself, how will Figma be able to do this next year? So each client is forced to pay for you to access dev mode, easy 5x profit from a single user. Stonks! 📈
