Create link in a variant of a dropdown to another frame

Hi guys!

I made a very simple example, but in the original dropdown I have 10 variants. The problem is that I can’t link from the dropdown variant to another frame. Yes, I can do it from the component, but this doesn’t work for me since the link will not be the same in the prototype.

I am doing something wrong? or can not be?

    In the collapsed dropdown menu, add the hidden menu item layers. This is what will allow you to preserve interaction.

      Thx! @tank666 it worked, but it’s a hack.
      But why can’t you do that? Adobe XD allows it, is it a bug or is there some logic I’m not seeing.
