Hey @Artyom_Cherepanov - thanks for details! I actually forwarded your post over to our engineering team, and there were a couple of things I wanted to pass over:

• First, just as an FYI – you can turn off the “automatic icon detection” – however, that doesn’t hacve an effect on what the codegen does.


• Currently, we show as .svg if Figma determines that a layer is an ‘icon’

They are working on improvements on this to make things more clear 😃

Also, they were asking if you were willing to share a recording that reproduces the behavior you’re describing. They can check to see if there was maybe a false-positive in the detection of an icon. Let me know!

The issue cause for this case was found by collaboration with @Artyom_Cherepanov and @dkozyulya_cs: the autolayout presence is a key to solving the problem

For auto layouts Figma shows it as a border, and for (regular) frames it shows it as an SVG shape.
