Can someone else publish changes from a FigJam template?

ChiSenires

Hello! Is it possible for other people other than you / the owner of a FigJam Template file to publish the changes with the template to be available for the rest of the Org?

Upon reading this Help Center article I am under the impression that it’s possible, but I tested it initially with a colleague and they couldn’t seem to see the same button to “Publish changes” or something which was something I could see on my end.

I made sure to invite them to the file as well and give them can edit privileges. Even after refreshing the file, they couldn’t seem to publish, only I could (since I owned the file).

Hello @ChiSenires, Thank you for contacting us about the FigJam template. I understand your situation.

I tested a template file created by another user on my end. I was able to publish the template after making edits.
The steps are as follows:

  1. Click the [Share] button in the upper right corner
  2. Update template
  3. Publish updates
  4. Select [Publish to] option then Publish updates

Hope it helps! If it’s not, could you please provide a screenshots or screen recording including the entire top of the screen from the affected user? This will assist us in gain a better understanding of the issue.

Additionally, there may be other community members who have experienced something similar. If so, please feel free to share your insights!

Thank you,
