Question

Some text is not showing correctly in components

left image: the problematic situation
right image: the normal situation.

The text in the component often fails to display properly for unknown reasons. The same problem occurs when tested on different device.

Currently, it has been found that when an account without editing permissions accesses the file, the missing text will not appear no matter what. However, when an account with editing permissions clicks on the missing text, it will appear.

This issue has caused me a lot of trouble during presentation and collaborations.

Hi @daken sorry to hear this is happening! If the font you are using is a custom font I would suggest checking to ensure you have the correct font file installed as your collaborators.

If you are still seeing the issue, I would suggest reaching out to the support team directly via this form for help: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Be sure to include a video recreating the issue, include the links to the file, and share it with support-share@figma.com so they can take a closer look.

Thanks for your reply,
I am using the figma default font “Inter”

carin.wave

I’m also having same problem in KR using font “Roboto”.
Sometimes texts just disappear and only remain sign like “. , : '”
When I double click on the missing text, it appears too. But still having this issue for a week.
