Hi Figma Team,
I’m a designer who frequently uses Figma on my iPad Pro with the Magic Keyboard. While the browser version of Figma works, it’s not fully optimized for iPadOS, especially when using the trackpad for zooming or panning. This often causes the entire page (including sidebars) to zoom, rather than just the canvas.
Having a native iPad app would not only provide a smoother and more intuitive experience but also leverage the unique capabilities of the iPad, like touch gestures, Apple Pencil, and the Magic Keyboard. It would be a game-changer for designers who prefer working on the go or those who have integrated iPads into their workflows.
Is there any plan to develop a native app for iPad in the near future? I’m sure many in the community would greatly appreciate it!
