Something has changed where I can only select one device when prototyping and it uses that device for all prototypes. This means I have to go in a change devices every time I’m going between files. This is driving me nuts because I simultaneously design in mobile and desktop and I have to keep goin back and forth when trying to look at my designs live. Please, please, please fix this. It’s inefficient.

As you already aware, the device you select in Prototype settings > Device is currently per page. If you want to set different devices for different flows within the same page, I understand this can be a bit inconvenient.
For the time being, if you need to work with various devices, you might consider separating them into different pages.
That said, your idea would make a fantastic feature request. I’ve noticed there’s already a similar suggestion posted here, so I’ll merge your input with that to help bring more attention to it.
