Hello everyone!
I’m new to Figma and im trying to get an overlay to stay behind the header. But no matter what I try, when hovering it, the overlay will come out on top. From problem searching on google and in this forum I can’t find the fitting solution, it might be in components but I havent gotten into that. Can anyone explain the necessary steps? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Greetings from Germany

One possible solution would be to create an overlay where your header is also part of the overlay group. In the new overlay group the icon would be have to go below the header to achieve the desired effect. You could also use interactive components so that one component group is the header without the icon and another component group is the header with the icon layer below. Then you would link both components depending on what interaction you would like (in your case a hover event).
