You can use variables for min/max dimensions already can’t you? Width → Add max width → Apply variable?

Edit: I just went back and checked. You can apply variables for min/max dimensions but there seems to be a bug with them showing up as variables in dev mode. In dev mode, the variable is either wrongly applied to width rather than max-width, or just displayed as a raw, non-variable value:
