Library components "updating" to original version, destroying new changes

This has ben happening since yesterday:

  • Make changes to component in master file
  • Import component from library into separate file; component reflects recent changes
  • Figma prompts to review library updates; update
  • The component is reverted to its previous version, destroying the update made

No number of closing/re-opening the file or restarts of Figma has helped. Only way I’ve found to get the new changes is to completely delete the component in the master file, rebuild it from scratch, and import the new component. Needless to say, I can’t do this for every single component I need to update company-wide.

Anyone else experiencing this or found a fix? It’s completely destroying my workflow and has now cost me two days of work.
