I started creating the color styles and i didn’t make it in order, so it stays like this:

now after all color styles created i want to change/rearrange the colors order (1,2,3,4,5,6,7 etc).

Does anyone know how to do that?

In the file, deselect everything so you see a list of all your local text and color styles on the right side. Click on the left edge of one of your colors and drag it up or down to reorder. You’ll know it’s working if you see a thin rectangle appear between the color rows (showing the new location of the color.

Thanks! it worked, not a intuitive interaction… should be manageable thorugh the actual creating editing styles panel. It feels weird, isn’t it?

for what it’s worth - this has always worked for me, but lately i’m getting weird issues where i’ll drag a block of library elements into position, drop them and some but not all of them will get moved.

then, when i try to re-order the glitched ones i’ll see the insertion indicator but they will snap back to their existing location… quite frustrating and sporadic.

Yes, this is quite frustrating and unexpected. It’s happening for some weeks now. No clear reason apparently.

Still appears in both web and desktop version. Need some fix!

I have the same issue here trying to reorder, but when I drag the color, mysteriously, the color jumps back to the original position. Is this a bug?? It’s quite annoying

@Figma_Support GUYS NINE MONTH THERE IS THIS ISSUE, PLEASE FIX IT!!!

It is a bug but you can use the makeshift method. Just drag style from bottom to top. In other order it doesn’t work for some reason

same bug where it snaps back. quite annoying.

Drag and drop worked fine for a long time, but this bug issued some months ago and it’s still there. It’s a bug indeed. Please take a look at it, thanks!

Does work somethimes, but not always. Go figure 😃

Thanks for this. Didn’t work for me when I was dragging styles up, but dragging styles down worked great 😀 🤔
