Here is how you can can duplicate many files to another account quickly without saving local copies:
- Create a free starter team and add both your accounts there as editors.
- Select all files you want to move to the new account (you can cmd + click/shift + click or drag the selection area around them to select multiple files quickly).
- Drag and drop them into the project in the new team that you created.
- Go to the second account, select all files in the project (Cmd/Ctrl + A).
- Right click the selection and choose “Duplicate X files”. They will be duplicated to the Drafts folder in the current account.
Thank you so much, Gleb! I successfully duplicated and transferred 169 files over to a new account. Thanks for sharing those easy to understand steps. Much appreciated 🙂
I’m trying to migrate all my files in my personal space into organization space. looks I the only option I have is to download them all as .fig, file, but I have to click into each file and download them individually, and it’s really redundant.
Is there an easier way to do it? I try select all the files in one of my project, but the “save as .fig” option is diabled.
I would like the answer to if somebody knows ?
Contact Figma support for that, they would help with migration to the Org space.
I am still not sure what I am doing wrong here. I follow the steps but my outcome is very differently, could you provide me with some more details please 🙂 @Gleb
I am trying to move 100s of files from a project within the org. to a personal Figma account.
Thank you.
You can’t do that without Figma support. Reach out to them so they can help with migration.
