Better image handling inside components

I run into this issue quite often. We have a lot of components where the image ratio is not fixed. The images usually have either a fixed width or height, but not both. I would really like to see a feature where we can work with dynamic image height or width depending on the use case.

I get that it’s hard with the current solution of placing the images as fills within a frame, but we really need a better way of dealing with images. I wouldn’t mind if they could be treated as their own object.

If anyone has a workaround for this at the moment, please let me know.

I need the same function or at least the option for hug content for the container if it contains an image in auto layout. That is so broken 😉
