When setting a “Back” action in a prototype in Figma, it lands the user at the top of the previous page. This isn’t how back buttons work on the web or in apps. Back buttons send the user back to where they were on the previous page, so they should work like that for prototypes too.
This causes a lot of confusion when using Figma for user testing.
I hack my way around this by using overlays for child screens, but overlays don’t work well for this, especially when prototypes need to work in a mobile web browser for remote user testing.
