Managing local variables is pretty cumbersome and buried in menus. Bringing over the variable window found in Figma, would be big help in managing local variables.
Has anyone figured out how to publish the components in this tool kit? As a single user on the Pro Plan, this is the modal that pops up when you try to publish the components?
I have a design library with multiple color variable. I’ve published all colors for our local team to use in their design files and for the longest time, all color variables were available for use inside these design files. But recently (past month or so) some colors are not appearing inside the design files. As in, they do not make themselves present during a Fill, Stroke, nor Text color selection effort. I also noticed I’m unable to nudge these variable (change color, name, etc) in order to trip the library into including them for publishing. It’s as if they don’t exist—even though they do in the library. Column 1 Column 2 Name Primary-050 E6E9F5 Primary-100 C1C9E7 Primary-200 98A6D6 Primary-300 6E84C6 Primary-400 4C69BB Primary-500 244FAF Primary-600 1D47A6 Primary-700 103E9A Primary-800 00358E Primary-900 002379 Specifically, variables “Primary-050” through “Primary-300” are being ghosted (ignored) by Figma publishing. While “Primary-400” through “Pr
When a request is made to view a file by a new user the alert says the user wants to “Edit” this file even if the user just wants to “View”. This is very annoying because edit seats cost money and view doesn’t so it slows down the process of others viewing files. Figma, please update this or explain why it happens. Thank you
Our organization is growing, and as result we are letting more and more folks into Figma. This is becoming increasingly difficult to manage.I would love to see some updates added to the people page to be able to manage users more effectively. One idea is to just add a “tags” column. This would be sufficient for my needs.Need:I want to be able to know what department/role a user belongs to in my organization so that I can ensure everyone has the right access based on their specific department/role.I imagine that I am not the only one with this issue, not sure how other people that are operating at a larger scale are currently handling this.My current workaround, which is terrible. Is to open up rippling in one view, and Figma in the other and compare individuals across tools to understand what access they need.
Hey there 👋My company is currently using Figma for content creation, and we were really excited to see that we could finally export videos directly from Figma Buzz. The problem is… exports seem to work randomly. Sometimes the file exports without an issue, but most of the time we end up waiting endlessly for the export to process, and nothing happens. It feels like we might not be the only ones experiencing this. Has anyone else run into the same issue? And is there a workaround or solution that the Figma team could share with us?Thanks a lot in advance 🙏
When I’m zoomed into a frame (some of the frame is off screen) and I paste to replace (one frame or multiple frames across the canvas), my viewport shifts awkwardly and aligns to the bottom of the same frame (or another frame? I’m not even sure). It’s quite disorienting and forces me to navigate back to where I was. This seems unintentional and I’d recommend not moving the viewport at all.Thank you!
Hi Everyone, Hope everyone is doing good. Just used Figma make which is awsme. Do any one have idea about the limitation in Figma make prompt. Number of usage.
Hi, I was previously using the Figma Education Plan. After Figma updated its verification process, I noticed that China is no longer listed as an available location. I’m an international student currently studying in China — could someone please help me resolve this issue?
Hi,I was trying to use variables to change the hover color of a button, but the problem is I can select the color of the base button using the tokens, the change to field only allows for hex colors; I can’t point to the hover token. It works for a single mode, light or dark, because I can just put the hover hex color, but that’s not great when using light and dark.
I’ve tried several of the remedies suggested in a previous post. But it seems like a compatibility issue between the desktop app and the updated display drivers.
Hi,The addition of annotations and measurements to Design mode is such a great decision. However this is rendered almost useless if the annotations and measurements can’t be made visible to View Seat users.Often annotations are used for communication with a range of stakeholders, not just designers and developers. It’s not viable to upgrade every stakeholder to a Full or Dev seat to engage with this content.
Hello everyone, what cool plugins can you recommend for creating mockups? I would appreciate the advice.
