Unable to drag or resize objects in Figma on Mac

Hello,

I'm having an issue with Figma on my Mac where I can't drag or resize objects on the canvas.

I previously contacted Figma Support about this issue (Ticket #2162949). After several troubleshooting attempts, the issue seemed to resolve itself temporarily, but it has now happened again. Support couldn't reproduce the issue on their end, so I'm hoping someone here might have experienced something similar.

Here's what I've experienced:

• I can select objects and use keyboard shortcuts, but dragging and resizing with my mouse or trackpad doesn't work.

• The issue also occurs in newly created files, not just one specific file.

• Other applications work normally, so the problem seems to be specific to Figma.

• The issue has occurred in both the Figma desktop app and browser versions.

Things I've already tried:

• Reinstalling the Figma desktop app.

• Switching networks, including using a mobile hotspot.

• Clearing Figma's application data/cache.

• Restarting and reopening the app.

None of these steps consistently resolved the issue, and it sometimes starts working again on its own before breaking once more.

Has anyone experienced this before or found a solution? I'd really appreciate any suggestions, as I've been dealing with this issue for several weeks and it's making it difficult to work on my projects.
