Copy and paste and selection bugs in Figjam

Copy and paste no longer works in FigJam. When i copy and paste using the right click menu in FigJam it works fine, but when I attempt to use keyboard shortcuts it doesn’t work. Copy and paste works fine in regular Figma. Same story in both desktop app and chrome on a M3 macbook pro.

I’m also seeing some strange behavior with selection in Figjame as well. If I click and drag an object the object is selected but it doesn’t move. I have to release my click and click a second time in order to drag. When I draw a selection around things, the selection box often get’s stalled on the first object it hits, preventing me from selecting multiple things. I’m seeing this behavior in FigJam but not Figma. Same issue in chrome and desktop on a M3 mac.

Hey Jared!
Thanks for flagging this. I cannot replicate it on my end. is happening with all FigJam files or a specific one? Does clearing your browser and desktop cache work? If you are using the desktop app, here is the instruction:

You can clear the desktop app cache on a Mac in the Help menu under Troubleshooting. If you’d prefer to manually clear your cache you can:

  1. Quit the Figma desktop app
  2. Open Terminal.app and enter the following command: rm -rf "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Figma"
  3. Try opening the desktop app again

You can clear the desktop app cache on Windows under the toggle-arrow at the right of the top toolbar under Help > Troubleshooting. If you’d prefer to manually clear your cache you can:

  1. Close the Figma desktop app
  2. Open the Start menu, and paste in this, followed by enter: %APPDATA%\Figma
  3. In the window that opens, delete the Desktop and DesktopProfile folders if they exist
  4. Launch the desktop app again
