Question

Bulk svg import – folders become labels within file?

Caitlin_Koryto

When I first started working with Figma, I somehow imported a bunch of svg icons that were in a single folder with multiple subfolders and lots of svgs. I remember dragging and dropping and Figma imported all the svgs into an awesome gridded layout in a single file. It was AMAZING!

Folder > Subfolders > Multiple svgs

The folder became the file, and the subfolders became a label inside of the file and all the svgs in that folder were laid out beside it. Each svg was on its own frame and componentized. So it was really well organized and quick. Now, I cannot figure out HOW I DID THIS!!??

Any ideas? Please help! I’ve tried dragging and dropping a folder and a zip folder into my dashboard/Home Screen and nothing happens.
