Copy color code from eyedropper loupe

Craig_Oshima

It would be nice if, when using eyedropper to sample a screen color, one could Cmd+C or Ctrl+C to copy the color value to clipboard. (I think that should also cancel the eyedropper mode, so user doesn’t have to follow with Esc; that is, the copy is the action, rather than a click.)

My use case: I’m generating color palette with tints and shades, using swatches of white or black at set opacities. Visually it works, but I can’t copy the resulting color value without “baking” the color in. Eyedropper works gets the mixed color, but no easy way to get into clipboard for pasting into code.

I agree, it would be nice to reduce the steps to copy the color code

Agreed, voted. You might agree with me on my idea too, as it is similar.
