Question

Why does the hover animation on a button in Figma change the content inside the button?

Polya_Kotova

I have an interface design system organized through components and variants. The button is enclosed in a component and its different states are created with the help of variants. The interaction between the buttons is configured inside the options between the parent components.
When copying a button to a layout and changing its text, when viewing the layout after and hovering over the button, the content (text) in it changes to the one that is written in the parent component.
How to make the content during animation remain the one that is set in the button’s child component?

It might happen that your text layer doesn’t have a name or the name is different for different states so Figma doesn’t apply your initial override
