Why does Figma image scaling also mirror images? I never want to mirror my image when I’m scaling it up or down, and the sensitivity of this feature is infuriating. Half the time I scale something it flips horizontally. Whyyy figma whyyyy?

Do you mean the image is flipped? You can disable this behavior in Main menu › Preferences › Flip objects while resizing.
