The Figma server is down for maintenance

@support_team I really hope that Figma doesn’t schedule server maintenance in the middle of a work day.

“The Figma server is down for maintenance. Figma will automatically try to reconnect.”

Some kind of status or best guess on resolution time would be nice. At least to get some kind of planning timeframe.

Perhaps a ongoing status-update every 30 minutes or so on the “Latest Info and Announcements” category could also give you some breathing room?

Just an idea, I know your all working hard to solve this 🙂

We should be back up and running but we’re still actively monitoring everything.

I’m still experiencing problems.
Files not being loaded and changes on the file I was working is not saved.

Yeah some services may be slow as everything spins back up. We’re still monitoring though and everything looks to be heading in the right direction.

I can confirm that it is still unstable.
Styles are not applied and changes are not saved.

It looks like we’re still running into issues here. We’re working as quickly as we can to get everything back up and running.

Still not fixed… It’s maddening when one has meetings and presentations scheduled for their teams and clients that rely on the tool they pay for, and the tool is down for hours…

It’s already the second time this year that Figma gifts its customers with critical problems, the other one being broken component instances just a few months back that wasn’t properly fixed for months.

Murphy’s law right? Things fail when you have a presentation. It’s highly unlikely that you will loose your job or clients because of failure out of your control 🙂

But this also demonstrates the importance of having redundant servers.
If we sum up the lost hours of work it amounts to a pretty heft sum in $$.
Hopefully today’s server issues puts fail safes on the agenda for Figma.

I’m getting issues loading fonts since Figma came back online, any fix for this? Already tried quitting Figma and relaunching. Thanks!
