I have been building out a character builder in Figma using components and variants. The more variants of options though the more complicated it gets (obviously) which results in significantly lower performance sometimes taking upwards of 5 min to simply copy and paste a variant set within the Figma App.
I am using a machine with 32GB of RAM (which is a lot lower than previous machines) and have never experienced this kind of slow down. The entire Figma file is only 0.36G, but when copying the Memory allocations/frees will jump from 0 to 79M. It could be higher, but that’s when Figma kind of hangs there. Is there any way of resolving this or just increase the RAM on the machine I’m using?
