Local variables string field should wrap text

I use string variables frequently, but it’s super annoying trying to edit the text of long sentences within the current fixed height field. It should instead wrap the text with the height increasing (or at least a toggle option…). Otherwise I have to write text and copy and paste in variable, which is silly.
