Ty your reply. I just weird why I cant open it directly using the desk version figma.
I found that I had to drag it to my drafts page in the desktop app.
This was so helpful thank you! I was going crazy thinking I’d lost my work!
It does go against most OS settings that you cannot associate the .fig format with its native application. Figma is wanting its user base to keep their work in the cloud for collaboration, while many of us know that can lead to some undesired situations. So they aren’t that interested in whether you keep your files to yourself.
You need to be in your home screen, and then drag the file into the board pr click on Import on the right side!
