I can see use components without any problems, but I can’t see any variables (which are in the community file). I can use styles but they also don’t show up on the right local styles panel. Is this to be expected?
So in order to fully utilize what’s offered in this UI kit - I should use the old way of:
find the community file - make a copy - either directly use that copied file, or publish the library including variables and styles?
Hi @Luke-Itineris thanks for the reply! If this isn’t clear in the original post: I meant variables that one can access through the right side panel, as well as the list of styles there. You could see them when opening up the original Simple Design System UI Kit community file, but not directly in the new Figma file despite you can use this UI Kit directly in the new file. Not sure if this is expected.

@Luke-Itineris here you go. I can see variables and the styles within this community file too. It’s just when I tried to use this kit directly from another file (which is something Figma supports now with the latest feature release), I can only see/use components from the canvas.
