Hi, wanted to provide some feedback about the new assets menu.
One of the most common workflows designers use will be for inserting components. It looks something like this.
- Shift + I
- Click component (or drag to where you want)
The issue I’m having now is that this menu does not close after an asset is added.
For small design systems with only a few components that might be ok. but we have a large design system with close to 100 components + several hundred icons. Our designers are going to be starting from a new search each time. Ideally this would behave like the old menu where once the asset is inserted the menu disappears.
Currently I have to either click the close button or select the menu and click close.
