Stroke Style

Hi everyone!

Is there such a thing as a stroke style in Figma?
I’ve encountered an issue with variants: when I modify the text in a variant, it doesn’t inherit subsequent changes made to the original component, like stroke settings.
It seems that instances work better if I want all copies to automatically inherit changes from the component, including strokes.

However, I need different variants for my table, such as left-aligned and right-aligned text. I’m trying to find the optimal solution so I don’t have to update each variant separately if I change the stroke. I’m now considering whether it’s better to create multiple variants or use instances instead.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to handle this efficiently?

Stroke styles aren’t possible right now, but this is already on our radar for the future. Feel free to add your feedback for the team and vote here:
