It would be great if you could restrict search to the currently selected items (and their descendants). Something like this:

Yes! I have to use a plugin to accomplish this. I think either adding the option to that menu or the page select menu would work for me. I like it where you have it though. Either way, it would save me so much time. Also, being able to limit results to similar layer attributes within a selection would be nice because sometimes I only want to select similar layers within a selection.
