Radio button group using variables

Scott_Stoddard

I’m struggling with creating an interactive radio button group using the new variables. Can anyone point me in the right direction? There’s only a few out there that are OK, but really don’t explain in great detail how to put one together…just pictures and text. No video or really granular instructions. Mahalo

Hi there,
If you are looking for some video tutorials, you can check out “Figma tutorial: Intro to Variables” and “Figma tutorial: Prototype with variables” that cover some basics.

Hope it helps! 🙂

This is just a file so not a deep explanation, but if you copy what he’s done here you ought to be able to reverse engineer it. It’s a good example of making a working radio group - however it doesn’t work as part of a radio group component. Labels break, weird things happen. From what I’m learning I don’t think Figma’s given us quite what we need to do that yet.
