Prototyping and animating between two component variants not working

Hi, I am really confused! I’ve always been able to make animations between variants in a component with the prototype tool, but recently it just stopped working.

For example: I want to make a button with another hover state. I’m done with the prototype tool to switch between the two states while hovering, but when I put the component in to the frame and try to hover over the button in the presentation view, nothing happens.

@Milton2 Does changing variants of interactive components in a desktop application work? I have a similar problem, but with iOS/iPad OS… But it works fine on a Mac.

Ensure that your layer names and layer structures are identical for every variant, and be sure you have variants linked with the “on hover” interaction.
