Open Session not Working

I have a paid account for Jams, I can create an open session but people cannot interact without login. Can someone help me?

Just to confirm, when you create an open session, if the visitor clicks the link, do they see the welcome screen as shown below? And if they see, what happens once they type something and click [Access file]?

I also conducted a test on my end, but I couldn’t start an open session on the file with the following sharing settings:

  • Anyone with the link: can edit
  • My account: can view

According to your screenshot, it seems that you have the same sharing settings on this file as I tested on my end, but we are experiencing different behavior. I’ve contacted our internal team to see if we have any insight on this issue and will keep you updated as we gather more information.

Lastly, are you encountering this issue both in the browser and when using the desktop app? To rule out some common issues, could you please try clearing the cache on both your desktop apps and browsers to see if that makes any difference?

For the desktop apps:

  • Mac: In the Help menu under Troubleshooting.
  • Windows: Under the toggle arrow at the right of the top toolbar under Help > Troubleshooting.
