Hi, i have a frame with input text and a textarea. In Protoytpe mode it is not possible to enter text in these fields. is that normal or should it be possible or is it a pro feature?

Are you looking to type text while playing your prototype in Present/Preview mode? If so, currently this feature is not available, but it could be a fantastic feature request!
I noticed a similar request from other community members here: Interactive text inputs in prototype mode Feel free to check it out and show your support by voting or commenting.
Alternatively, if you want to edit text in a text layer when switching to the Prototype tab, I tested it on my starter account, and I was able to type text in both Design and Prototype tab.
I hope this clarifies things a bit. Please let me know if I missed anything.

There is a way to do this currently, but it’s not pretty and depending on the number of fields you have it could get quite time consuming. Only issue I’ve found with this method is the inability to delete one character. Delete key resets entire field. But, if you’re ok with that then you can map out the key inputs you want for each field ie restrict to letters or numbers, or just characters for an email address etc.
I basically mapped each possible keystroke to each field variable. Time consuming, but it works.
