LAUNCHED: Hide Slides

Currently trying Slides and loving it!

One thing I will really love is to have “hide slide” or “skip slide”. Besides having different versions to review in the end, but also to be able tailor contents for different audiences.

Looking forward to sharing this tool to my non-designer coworkers!

We appreciate you also spreading the word  If you, or any of your team members have additional questions or feedback, we’d love to hear more. Feel free to drop that here anytime

Add Hide Slide Feature to the Figma Slides deck

Hey! So I discovered something today that kinda works as a “hide slides” system, while we wait for the actual feature.
You can copy/cut slide and paste them anywhere in the canvas around your slide deck (when you’re in grid mode), which is very helpful to have components or other slides you don’t wish to present.
As you can see in the screenshot below, the red and green slide are not part of my slide deck, there are “hidden”:

Hope this helps

Thank you Maite for coming out with an easy solution!
I’m curious why Figma missed it. Did they forget to check their competitor’s slide tools?

Agreed! Weird miss indeed, it’s still in beta though so might just be in the pipeline :crossed_fingers:

Nvmd, it’s fixed now ^^ Thanks for the update Flides-team!

Hey All, thanks again for your feedback!

As @Maite_Who mentioned, the Slides team officially launched the ability to hide slides yesterday! :rocket:
