With the introduction of the Local Font Access API in Chromium, the need to install the font service becomes obsolete. I propose to implement this feature in supported browsers, which will simplify working with local fonts.

I believe that avoiding installing third-party services on the user’s system will have a positive impact on Figma accessibility in the browser, including working with local fonts using native API. It would be interesting to read the community’s opinion on this!
