How to have several shapes on the same plane

I want to design a dashboard with widgets. Let’s say a 3x3 grid of white widgets on white backgrounds. I want to highlight the widgets by using a shadow.
I have arranged them using an auto-layout.

I cannot find the option to have them all on the same plane which means the shadow effect of one widget goes over the next widget.

Does such an option exist ?

Hey @Tristan1 ! Figma works with layers, so it is not possible to have two elements “on the same plane”. I would suggest either separating them enough so that the shadows don’t overlap to the widgets or highlighting the widgets in a different way.

Hope this helps!
