Going back in advanced prototyping

I love your new advanced prototyping feature using variables and expressions. However, every time I present them to our squads, I’m often asked to go back one step. Because of the way they’re set up, I need to restart the prototype and go through the entire flow from the beginning to get to the correct step.

It’d be really cool if the prototype could remember my chronological history and I could just press Back to go back a step.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out! Just to confirm, the back action is not the one you’re looking for - https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040035874-Prototype-actions#h_01HHFZ3TAZXSDTGQFYFTJF7WGB? It allows you to navigate back to the previous screen.

If not, let me change your post into “share an idea” for feature request so we would like to gauge the reaction of other members in the community! So, please let me know.

Thanks,
Toku

Same question here! It would be great for the “Back” action to be able to set the variables in advanced prototyping back to the states they were in before the action.
