I’m having trouble with the search, it’s not returning any relevant results or maybe isn’t sorting correctly.
For example, I have a file called ‘06__Buttons’ and when I search ‘Buttons’ or ‘06__Buttons’ it shows as the 20th result when the word button isn’t in the title of any of the other results.
The sort is set to ‘Relevance’.
Can you share some screenshots? Difficult to understand when we can’t see anything. Thanks.
I’m having the same issue, since today search isn’t pulling up related items, even when searching name of files exactly it doesnt show in my list.
Believe this needs to be moved into the bug category.
Having the same issue. Searching for files via cmd+t is not returning the same kind of results it used to.
If I had to guess, I would think it’s prioritizing results inside the file over the filename - which is the opposite of what it used to do.

Seems like the Figma search functionality is temporarily broken as it does not show the results based on the actual words typed in the search bar. anyone experiencing the same?

Update 1: root cause was identified, and the team is working to address this now.
With the latest update my FILE search has broken.
If I open a new tab and search for name (doesn‘t matter if I respect low/capital characters) it just doesn‘t turn up anything useful. As you can see here, I have a file brand manual, and even if I almost write the whole phrase, it doesn‘t show the file in the results.
Absolutely a bug and a terrible one. My app is up-to-date and I tried restart with cache drop. Didn‘t fix. Mac OS.
BTW when I click see all results, it‘s supposed to be “ordered by relevance”.
