When I press present or preview, it shows empty page or frame and shows some of the icons i used . What is the problem? How can I fix it?
Hey @Farnaz_Mohammadi , welcome to the community!
Can you clarify that nothing is showing when you try to view the prototype in presentation and preview mode?
To cover some grounds, can you make sure that you have selected the top level frame?
If photos and text are missing from the prototype view, I would check to make sure the text and image layers are nested within a top-level frame as presentation mode can only show layers within a top-level frame.
If frames have gone missing in the editor view, I would suggest trying to restore your file to an older file version. To do this:
- Click on an empty spot in the canvas to deselect any layers.
- In the toolbar, click the next to the file name.
- Select Show Version History from the options.
- Figma will show the file’s version history in the right sidebar.
- Click on the previous versions of the file to preview the old versions and see if your missing frames are appearing
- If you find a version where the frames are shown as expected right click or click on the “…” 3 dot menu
- From this menu you can either Duplicate the version to your Drafts or Restore the file to this version
If this still doesn’t help I’d recommend you to reach out directly to the support so they can take a look into your issue: here
Please make sure to include a link to the file, add support-share@figma.com as an Editor to the file (this won’t affect your billing at all), and a quick screen recording of what you’re seeing in your file would also be very helpful. Thank you!
